Adext AI is required to refresh your ad account access token from time to time. That process should usually be automatic and transparent to you but this error occurs when that process fails for any reason.

Typically, the solution to this error is to re-authorize by following the directions presented to you within Adext AI.

Some possible reasons for failure:

  • Your ad account no longer has the proper privileges for Adext AI to function
  • You (or someone else with access to your account) removed the Adext AI authorization directly in Google or Facebook Ads
  • Technical reasons outside of your control
