A demographic is a specific segment of society, the following are all examples of demographics:

  • males

  • females

  • people aged 18-24

  • people who use mobile phones

Audience

A collection of demographic segments forms an audience, for example:

  • males & females that are between the ages of 18-45 who use mobile phones and desktop computers
